Easy Touch air sensor has only moved 1 degree up or down in the last couple of days. Actual temp moved about 15 degrees day to night. Is it on the way out? Not showing any error messages. About 10 years old.

The sensors seem to be about $20 on amazon.

Any thoughts appreciated.

That sensor manages your Freeze Protection with the ET. Normally when they go bad they show crazy temperatures. I would take a cold glass of water and put the sensor in it and see if the temperature changes.

You can also test them with an ohm meter if you have one. You must disconnect it from your ET before you test it, and to do that be sure the breaker to the ET is OFF. Messing with ET wiring while the unit is on is a sure fire way to burn it up. Here's some reading about it, and below is a chart you can use to test it:

PS. You'd put the ohm meter across the two wires of the sensor, not the two ET circuit board terminals.
