Would love to see pictures of your Easy Touches with the circuit panel cover off. I want to compare/guide when I think is correct setup with what you have.

Do you use the 2 air/water temperature gauges that came with the Easy Touch?

Do you have a main power shut off before the Easy Touch? Not as in at the house circuit panel, but right outside the Easy Touch panel. I currently do not have one, should I put one in?

Can I place 90 degree elbows 3-4" before and 3-4" after my SWG? I have managed to put a minimum of 6" before and after my pump and filter, but the SWG I only have about 3-4". Will this be OK ?
 
Yes, use both sensors. One for air and the other for water.
No shutoff switch next to the sub panel, only a 70 amp breaker in the main panel that feeds the sub.
Yes, 90 before and after will be ok, just not ideal for flow.

If you will post a picture of your set up with the CB panel removed, we can tell you if we spot anything unusual.

The main issue is to make sure that the SWCG's transformer gets its power through the Pump/Filter relay. This makes sure that the SWCG is always off when the pump is off. (This is a safety issue and must be done)

The IntelliFlo's GFCI circuit breaker should only power the pump and nothing else. (If this power is used anywhere else, there is a slight possibility it will cause intermittent and random GFCI trips.) A lot of people use this power with no problems.

edit.. The IC40 at my house was installed by my pool builder and has a 90 degree and then only has about 3" before the SWCG itself. Works fine, but I suspect that my flow switch would close at lower than 1,100 RPM, it I had more straight pipe in front of the SWCG..

I'm surprised there are not more pictures of the inside of an EasyTouch here on the forums. I checked the gallery and only 1 of an EasyTouch 8. I'll get a picture of how I have everything wired for you guys to look at tonight and you can let me know if you spot anything wrong.

Currently I have:
The incomming power line is 6/3 wire coming from the main panel from a 2 Pole 50A standard breaker.
(1) 2 Pole 20A GFCI breaker for the Intelliflow Pump
(1) 1 Pole 15A GFCI Breaker for the EasyTouch Controller
(1) 1 Pole 15A GFCI Breaker for deck lighting & dedicated robot outlet.
(1) 1 Pole 20A Standard Breaker that will run electricity to my shed.
 
Your IC40 installation instructions recommend at least 12" of straight pipe run prior to the SWCG. Mine had less and needed 2000 RPM from my Intelliflo pump to activate the slow switch. Forced the Pool Builder to replumb to get me right at 12" of straight pipe and the required flow dropped to 1400 rpm.

Just a FYI ----

(1) 2 Pole 20A GFCI breaker for the Intelliflow Pump - L1 CB into 1st relay slot. L2 CB into 3rd relay slot. 2nd replay slot getting pump L1 and white SCG wire. 4th relay slot getting L2 from pump and Yellow SCG wire. Pump ground going to ground bar.
(1) 1 Pole 15A GFCI Breaker for the EasyTouch Controller - Black wire into Hot CB. Purple wire into Neutral CB (picture shows it going into neutral bar. I moved it to the CB)
(1) 1 Pole 15A GFCI Breaker for deck lighting and an outdoor outlet that I will use for my robot. (picture shows the white it going into neutral bar. I moved it to the CB)
(1) 1 Pole 20A Standard Breaker running electricity to my shed.

Looks ok to me... The only thing I would suggest is that you add a surge protector to help ensure your pump does not get hit by a transient of some type. The one bad thing about VS pumps is all the electronics inside them..

Most people install a GFCI outlet in the knockout in the lower right side of the panel. Not required, but I see a lot of them mounted there.

How does it install? The green is obvious (ground) but where would the white and black wires get attached?
