Good Evening

I recently had an inground pool installed and finally hooked my Intelliflo VS pump to the Easy Touch panel via serial cable. I was able to program the first 4 speeds at the panel itself but have no idea how to get the pump to turn on to one of my preset speeds. I also would like to set up a schedule to run it. I plan on hooking my heater to the Easy Touch later but would like to get the pump programming figured out first. As long as I'm typing here I would like to get some advice as to what RPM to run the pump at for basic skimming operation and for how long. Thanks for your help....so glad i found this forum!

You need to set up schedules to run the pump. See your ET user guide. It can be a bit daunting but I found it fairly logical.

Each schedule can have a separate pump RPM.

Here is an article on pump run times - Pool School - Determine Pump Run Time

RPM for skimming is very specific to your pool. You will have to experiment for that.

tgb,

Why did your Pool Builder set this up for you already???

If you have ScreenLogic it is a snap to program what you want..

First... nothing you programmed at the pump itself will make any difference. It is all done via ScreenLogic.

This is the page where you tell ScreenLogic what speed you want for each individual circuit...

I sent you a PM...

You did not show Screenlogic in your signature ----- I do not have that but Jim does so follow his info ---

Take care.

Did you install the ScreenLogic PC or Mac program on your computer (not mobile device such as phone or tablet) which is supplied on a Disc as as part of the ScreenLocgic package? If not, then your pool builder should have supplied it, since it came with the ScreenLogic package he bought and charged you for. The package also contained a Screenlogic manual that you should read carefully and in depth. The manual will tell you all you need to know about programming your EasyTouch system. Any questions about either EasyTouch or ScreenLogic will be answered by the very knowledgeable people on this forum.
