Easy Touch 8 Wireless Communication Issue

My easy touch 8 is not communicating with any of the apps I have for it on android, Iphone, or Windows. All apps can find the ET8 locally over wifi (I can see the wireless address and the name assigned to it), but they are not able to connect to it to control the equipment. A remote connection cannot be established through Pentair's servers. I had brief success after turning the power off and restarting the system but within 5 mins the connection was lost. Everything works at the panel and my VSF pumps are still communicating with the panel. I have a feeling that this means the wireless board has gone out but was hoping i could do some diagnostics prior to ordering a new one to make sure I get it right.

As a test, you can run a 4-wire cable in place of your wireless links and confirm that it all works. If it does, then it would mean your are correct that one of your wireless transceivers are not working.

Let's see if Tom has any feedback on possible repair of a transceiver. Calling @ogdento

I reset the protocol adapter and gained local access. Remote access through the servers is still not possible. I am going to see if the connection to the servers at Pentair reset.

If you have local access, then the wireless links must be working.

I just used my phone and got immediate remote access, so it is not a Pentair Server issue.

Hmm. Ok. Something else is wring then. I'll keep digging.

Connect locally and then go in and reset your remote password and see it that make any difference.

Reset the password, everything is is working like it should now. I get thr feeling the hurricane plus generator power was the cause.
