Not sure if this is the right place....I walked out onto my deck and saw these ducks hanging out in my pool. I am over 20 miles from any water, and there are like 5 pools in my area....Luck or curse???

Thought I would share!@

Persuade them to find a new place unless you want to deal with this for several weeks:

They're pretty cute until you see the poop they leave at the bottom of the pool. Only three survived...the others were taken by predators.

Hahahahaha...so true...the wifey was saying they are so cute maybe we could keep them...I was like you can do what you want, but your jumping in the pool to clean all the poop! She shooed them away....I just showed her your picture....she mumbled something but wouldn't repeat it...guess no dinner for me tonight!

We have a pair (we're assuming mated) who show up for a few days every spring after I open the pool. I'm considering an owl statue to see if it deters them.

I've mentioned this before on another thread, but my cousin had ducks on their pool and finally put several brightly colored soccer balls in the pool and the ducks left. Keep the balls out every year and haven't had any ducks since then, that I know of.
