Dual spa / pool setup with Jandy rs-2/6 dual

Hi there,
I have a Jandy setup for my independent pool and spa setup. I'm a novice so bare with me.

When my pool builder built everything, I'm not sure he was too familiar with how to use the Jandy, but nonetheless this is what I have. The spa/pool are only connected in the sense that they can spill into each other (not an intentional spill over, just a bulkhead between the two)

Jandy, aqualink
Pool: hayward sand filter
Aquapure salt generator
Pentair intelliflo pump
Jandy color lights
Sta rite natural gas heater
Spa:
Hayward star clear cartridge filter
Pentair blower, pump, and single speed filter pump
Sta rite heater

I guess my question is for the group, can you control two salt generators with the Jandy?? The systems are plumbed separately.

Should there even be a salt generator for the spa? Should I just have a periodic mix of the water? Or can the one salt generator take care of both systems? (This seems wrong).

Is there an actual pipe that connects the two bodies of water? If so, when you use the spa it will have to be blocked during spa use or the spa will take forever to heat to temperature (second law of thermodynamics; heat travels to cold).
Since the plumbing and equipment is separate, it would be difficult to get the single SWG to connect to both bodies of water.
Doable, yes, with a crazy combination of plumbing, valves, and actuators. I drew a schematic for a customer who wanted to do the same thing, along with a single heater, twenty+ years ago. Cost then was crazy high. He paid for the plan and then said, "No, thank you."

No pipe connecting the two... what about having two salt generators and the jandy?

Yes, you can a SWG for each body of water.

Only one SWG can be controlled through the Aqualink system.

The other SWG will have a separate stand alone control panel to adjust the generation %.
