I’ve owned my pool for about 5 years and have had to replace the motor twice. Once for an electrical issue and now the bearings. Looking to maybe move away from the Jandy and go with something else. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You pay your money, and you take your chances.

Do you have an automation panel or control the pump from its own control panel?

Jandy, Hayward, and Pentair pumps all seem to have issues at times. The Pentair Intelliflo pumps have long been the gold standard. However recently there seem to be more problems with drives and motors in recently manufactured pumps.

Look at the Pureline VS pumps sold by inyopools. I think you may have to look at VS pumps as inexpensive and disposable.
