Drive Wheel Bearings Maytronics/Dolphin S200?

Over time the front drive wheel and bearing has developed a lot of slop and needs replacement. Marina seems to be out of wheel kits at present that include this little plastic part that does not seem to have a number. The bearings press-fit on the front wheel shafts. My S200 won't crawl because of gear slop on the front drive wheel.

I am going to try swapping sides with the other side's idler front wheel to see if I can get moving again in the short term

So what I probably need is a
  1. couple of 9993219 front wheel kits that include new wheels and bearings,
  2. plus a new set of the nylon drive gears that run inside this wheel, one off the motor and one on the front roller.
These all seem to screw right on.

Anyone know a source I might check besides Marina or maybe part numbers? Maybe it is a supply chain issue.

I have to say that this S200 is wonderfully easy to work on and seems to be a great design.

Thanks.

Did you call Marina or just go off what they show on the web site? I would call them.

They were out but I did find them elsewhere and did a wheel and bearing replacement.

The one part I have yet to find separately is the white nylon motor drive gear that is fastened to the drive by a small Philips screw.

Funny, I just posted about the same issue in my old robot thread. See my signature for the link.

So far I have not found a source. I put in a request for quote with Marina. Maybe if she hears from 2 of us, they can get more parts!!

Where did you find the parts? I need to replace the wheels and bushings.
I found them at poolweb.com. Marina had no stock but showed them as a kit including wheels.

Arrived quickly and solved the problem.

I would still like to find the drive gear - the white nylon one on the motor drive held on with a small screw. I don’t need the whole motor.

IIRC, the one on the drive brush and the one on the motor are slightly different. I could be wrong but they looked similar but different last time I was in there and assumed they weren’t interchangeable.

I just realized you needed the one on the motor. I have mine apart so I’ll look in the morning if they are the same. Wouldn’t surprise me if they are different.

You are correct. I checked this morning and they are slightly different. Bummer.

I suppose you could buy the $90 motor replacement and just have a good spare motor on hand … definitely non-optimal.
