Hi, our family of 6 lives in a master-planned community in Dripping Springs (just outside Austin) and we are at the beginning of our planning process. We spoke with Aqua Pools about a 16X40 fiberglass but we are also considering hiring a PB for a gunite pool. Our previous home came with a 12 X 32 gunite pool and we maintained it for 16 years, dealing with problems like CYA buildup and algae. I think we must have taken pretty good care of it because when we left the pool was 21 years old and had never been replastered. I thought I was against SWG but after reading on here I may need to reconsider. After spending some time on this site I realize I need to do a *LOT* more research.
