Drained pool - purge water in my system?

Hi all! I just drained my pool and removed all the calcium build up around the tile. Pressure washed and going to refill tomorrow. There is a lot of debris and dirty water gathered at the bottom and in the main drain. How can I purge all of that and empty my filter system before I refill with new fresh water? I opened up my drain hose valve and turned on the filter briefly but it never pumped anything out and it stayed in the priming phase, so I shut it off.

Submersible pump. Or bail it out. Primarily want to get out solids, etc.

No real need to flush the pipes. Not enough of anything in them to bother.

Finish up using a wet/dry shop vac.
