drain plug leaking hayward gas heater after opening pool

Hi all,
Opened the pool today, turned on the pump, noticed the drain plug was leaking on my hayward heater. Does anyone know the cause, this has not happened before

Which model Hayward do you have? It appears there are different plugs out there. Post a pic? Maybe the threads below can be of some help.
