Hello all!
First year pool owner here about to tackle a couple days hard freeze in the ATL next week. We have a raised Spa which I have completely shut off normally and a couple of sheer descents on a separate pump. I have set all the valves to essentially use all the pipes to avoid any issue by keeping water flowing through all of the pipes, but I'm a little on the fence about what to do with the heater.
I have a heater bypass and was initially planning to just open it up and let the water flow through it as well, but I got the thinking it may just be better to remove the drain plug and let it be. Thoughts on which one is safer? The pool is not closed, but I don't plan to use the spa or the pool until more like the April timeframe.
Thanks!
