This looks like the 2000 series comparator - model 9058 that has pH and CYA testing capability. On the pH side,- it should have a 44ml mark. You need to use reagent R-0004 for this size tube.
This is what I use as I like that the pH has more graduations.
Using the dpd test from the instructions of the k 2006c kit. Uses 9ml sample. The 9058 does not have a color chart. Does the color chart on a k1004 comparator apply?
I think I misunderstood your original request as the larger comparator was in the middle of the picture with the R-0001 & R-0002 reagents next to it. So I thought you were trying to use that but it is only good for pH and CYA.
So you wish to use the smaller comparator on the left of your original picture to test FC for a quick check. Is that right?
Then the instructions you show are applicable for that comparator based on what I see on the Taylor Technologies website.

Yes..thank you

Comparing results FAS-DPD (4.8ppm) vs DPD only..(2-4 color) seems like the DPD lower..don't know if i trust the accuracy.
You have to use the 9056 comparator block which has color swatches for DPD that go up to 10ppm. It’s a 9.5mL water sample on that side and you use the same amount of drops as the midget comparator - 5 drops each of R-0001 and R-0002.
I use that test all the time for quick checks. It gives good accuracy below 5ppm but at 7.5ppm and 10ppm it can be tricky to distinguish. I have done side by side comparisons of the FAS-DPD test and the DPD only test and they both track well. The DPD color comparator reads a little high in my opinion. But not that bad. Much more accurate than OTO … that yellow test NEVER lined up for me.
