Dolphin Premier Robotic Stairs cleaning

Thinking to spend AU$3000+ to buy it and would love to hear from other owners as to how does it behave when it encounters stairs?

Would it be possible to find a robotic cleaner that once it finds stairs, it climb and then moves along the same step to clean it before it moves to the next one up?
Or remembers where it got stuck and avoid it next time in its memory map? Not too much to expect form a $3000+ pool robotic.

Robots in general do not do stairs.. They might accidently climb up a little, but they have no idea where they are.

I had the Premier and used it for about 7 years. It worked fine, but costs way too much and is old tech. I now have Dolphin S200 "style" robots. Costs about half as much and is a much better robot.
