Mine worked fine last month but tried it today ( guessing the water is in the upper 40’s ) and it runs for a minute and shuts off.
I think I am
Out of warranty anyway and can deal with it when it’s warmer if it has an issue

I believe there is lower limit stated in the manual. Not sure there is an auto off.

Mark,

I am not sure if there is an automatic shut off or not, but I have used mine during the winter when the water temp was in the 40's and have never had it not work.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks, I did check and the fan wheel has stuff in it. Cleaned it and it seems
Ok. Didn’t think to check the basic stuff 😎

Was just about to suggest that -- when mine (E30) had a leaf in the impeller I tried to get it going a few times. Sometimes it ran for a minute and shut down like that, once it ran but slipped down the floor slope and fell of the walls, so clearly not able to get enough flow out the top to hold it down.

It would be nice if it gave an indication when it shut down prematurely like that (flashing the light forever until reset or something), because those of us using it on a timer (either automation mode or built-in) aren't there to see it not run until we wonder why it isn't picking up all the debris.

It worked when I took it out so didn’t think to check it. Happy it’s working and I don’t have to worry all winter. Somebody said they have a factory or headquarters in Georgia which is good to know.

Yes - mine shipped directly from Maytronics in Duluth, Georgia. It is a manufacturer refurbished unit. I can only assume that’s where they refurbished it 🤷‍♀️
