Does anyone buy old/used/wornout salt cells?

I replaced my Hayward T-Cell-15 last month, and I didn't throw away the old one, which was nine years old and worn out. Does anyone buy old salt cells to refurbish/rebuild? I know saltsolutions rebuilds cells, and I sent them an email inquiring if they buy old ones. I don't see anywhere on their website about buying old ones, as their model seems to be to take trade-ins from people buying one of their cells.

So, is there any way for me to recycle my old cell, hopefully for a few bucks, rather than just throw it in the trash?

I would try putting in a call to that company instead of just an email. That tends to work faster. Saying that I have not heard of anyone taking in old cells even for free so............let us know what you find out.
