I’ve been testing, logging my results, then adding what I need to bring it up to where I want it. I don’t feel a need to test again to confirm.
For example, with my CYA at 60 I should be FC 7-9. So I test after it’s been a few days and say it’s 7. I just log the 7, then I add chlorine to bring it up to 9. But I don’t test to confirm, because I feel it’s a waste of test chem. What happens then is all my logs appear like I’m letting things run low when I’m actually not at all.
Wondering what you all do. Do you log the low number then, or log the number it should be after you add the chlorine?
