Do you always shower before going into the pool?

I work as a mechanic - shop foreman - shop manager.
I have been known to come home and strip off my clothes as I walk from my truck to the pool, and jump in to get the grit/grime/sweat off of me before going into the house.

Haha, but would you be able to help me understand why it does not matter? What about sunscreen? Why do all commercial pools require you to shower first?
That would be the only time a shower is required, when exiting a commercial pool! As if I would ever go in one!

Actually, yes. But I don't ask that of guests.
Normally I would have showered that day already, and we have fairly few guests. If I want to swim after getting sweaty doing the yard (about 2+ hours of southeast Texas 95/90% weather), I'll at least hose off first.

It depends, if I'm thick with dirt or plant material after working in the yard or have repellant, sunscreen or medicinal lotions then it's a good rinse in the outdoor shower. Most of the time and if it's just sweat no but I always do a quick rinse after getting out.

Nope! Mow, get hot, jump in pool, mow some more, jump in pool THEN go shower that is only to get the stink off better.

If you have enough FC and a good filter they will take care of anything you bring into the pool. If there is a LOT of sunscreen then you can put a "scum bug" in the skimmer basket to help catch it before it goes to the filter.

At the height of the pandemic, I’d come home from working in customers houses and jump right in the pool, work clothes and all. We both got a 30 minute soak. I’d then go in to shower and the work clothes got hung up to dry / sterilize in the sun.

After a while I started telling which day it was by how many sets of clothes I had hanging up outside. 4 sets of clothes out ????? Freaking SWEET !!!!! tomorrow is Friday !!!!!

Only rinsed off one time before going in. Had some relatives over and they were in the pool while I was doing some work in the yard. I was covered in sweat, so I thought I'd make it look good and rinse off with the hose before jumping in. Other than that, nope! :ROFLMAO:
