Does running fountains affect the chlorine level?


In the Pool School book it says only sunlight and the breaking down of algae or biological materials.

Running fountains will aerate your pool and cause your PH to rise.

No, the fountain by itself will not affect chlorine. What may happen is that since the water is spraying into the air, more surface of the water is exposed to sunlight, and that might burn chlorine off faster than still wayer.
