Do I need scale preventative?

Just wonder if anyone can provide some guidance on scale preventative. Do I need it? I clean my salt cell precisely per manufacturer's instructions. The scale comes off easily and it's not what I would call excessive. My local pool store (BioGuard products) is constantly telling me to use 2+ quarts per month of SaltScapes Scale Defender. I've been resisting them and buying it from Amazon at least but I'm also learning, after 3 years of pool ownership (yes I'm a slow learner), that I need to be suspect of everything the pool store recommends and very cautious what I put in my pool. My most recent CH reading using my Taylor kit and backed up by the pool store test is 350-370. I've attached the MSDS from BioGuard's website in case that helps any of the more chem-savvy folks.

No. That product is unnecessary in a pool with properly managed water chemistry.
