Direct replacement for MPRA6E-205L?

Our pool is just about 11 years old and things are starting to need replacement. We just did the liner and now I feel the STA-RITE MPRA6E-205L pump is on its last leg. It’s getting louder and the output doesn’t feel quite as strong as it used to.

Is there a direct replacement for this pump? While I’m capable of installing new PVC, I’d rather not have to mess with that… one less headache, you know?

Thanks!

What motor does it have?
Pump Housings often outlast motors.

A new motor & seal kit could be all that's needed.

I was in a similar situation this past season.
Motor getting louder & weaker. I replaced the motor with a 2-speed

Photos attached… is it the C48* number on the white barcode label?

Thanks!

If you contact inyopools and show them the photos, they should be able to recommend a proper replacement motor to match your pump and impellor. Be sure to order the salt seal kit as well. (They last longer than non salt seals).

Also do be sure, to figure out if this motor is wired for 110v or 220v. Important that the replacement is also wired the same.

I recommend inyo because they offer the best customer service and very reasonable prices.

I replaced the motor, shaft seal, and o-rings last week, but the assembly is still very loud compared to what it used to be. I'm attaching a video below. Is there something else (impeller, diffuser, etc) that would be causing this noise?
