Is there any best practice for size/style wire I should run for the digital inputs? I’ll be connecting my Raypak 8450 HP to me Intelliflo3. I have tons of 12AWG Stranded. I realize that’s overkill, but I thought I’d use it unless there was a reason to use something different.

I used 18-gauge solid thermostat wire for my low voltage lines. It's available by the foot at HD in varying configurations depending on how many wires you need to run. Solid wire is much easier to work with.
