Deep Heat Returns for Pool Solar

My BP says I can add deep heat returns for the Pool Solar Panels. The logic says that deep returns would most efficiently heat the pool, as heat rises. There of course is a cost involved with adding those deep returns. Does anyone have any experience that would say otherwise? It's $2K more to add these deep returns.

What depth profile will your pool be?

In general not worth the cost.

Pretty shallow, 6 ft. I was thinking the same thing.

Definitely no need for 6 foot deep.

Get Venturi returns, they force the heated water down and grab some warmer surface water in the process.
