Trying to decide on decking. I’m doing it myself...after the initial 3 and coping being installed with the pool. Has anyone ever used wood deck tiles? The kind that snap together? Just curious how they worked out, longevity etc! Thoughts?

What are you thinking of using for under the decking? Sand? Dirt? concrete? Are the wood deck tiles you are looking at rated for outdoor use?
Yea they are outdoor rated. I’d do a base like pavers and then a paved base mat that HD and Lowe’s sell.
I just looked them up and man there are some pretty ones out there!!!! I wounder how hot they will get in the sun. Which ones are you looking at? Can you get them local? If so I would get one to lay out in the sun for a while then step on it.
As far as the durability I have no idea but if it is REALLY tile then it should be just like any other tile..........almost forever!
