I have a concrete pool deck that has become worn and has a few cracks and settling over the years. I would like to DIY refinishing, but do not have any experience and there are so many products out there. I have read that I need to pressure wash (any particular HP requirement), then apply a bonding agent, and finish with a coating. But I would like to ask if anyone had any suggestions on how to proceed and what products I might want to use for each phase.

I have included some photos of current deck condition. Some questions I have include:

1. What time of year I should do it? I have heard horror stories of pollen ruining such a product, so was thinking of doing it during the summer season next year.
2. What products to use and steps in the process?
3. What to do about the cracks? And can anything be done about crack where settling has occured?

I would just caulk all the cracks and roll a coat of acrylic color top coat on it. The texture coating hasn’t peeled and seems okay in most areas. Other than the cracks showing it should look like new with just a new top coat.
