Deck for Intex 12x24

We've installed our pool and are now discussing the deck we are going to put around it and looking for suggestions! Can we build the deck right up to the top edge of the pool? Or over it? Would love to be able to sit on deck and dangle feet in the water, but not sure if that's possible suggestions please
