I'm looking to add 264 sq ft to my existing concrete/bonded deck, running the length of the pool in the attached pic. The use of metal rebar to 'attach' to the existing deck would be within the 5 ft of the water's edge, so, that brings up bonding concerns. But would the use of fiberglass rebar and fiberglass mesh for the addition eliminate that bonding concern?
