This is my first post here even though I've been reading this forum and following the advice here since taking over maintaining my pool after firing my pool guy who neglected my pool after hurricane Irma turned it into a swamp last fall.
Nowadays my biggest annoyance is having the pool store employee try to get me to buy stuff that I don't need whenever I go to get my 2.5 gallon jugs refilled with chlorine.
It's really hard to hold my tongue when I tell them I'm not interested in buying their Power Powder Plus because it will raise my Calcium Hardness levels, and they tell me that it absolutely won't
.
By following trouble free pool method, my pool stays way clearer than when I had the pool guy who I was paying $100 a month, and now I've only been spending maybe $15 a month on chemicals (liquid chlorine and muriatic acid) to keep it sparkling clear.
Thanks again everyone!
