Dawn or dusk to run daily test

Hello,

I have been trying to use Poolmath to calculate my chemicals, but there is a couple of questions here.

1. in the ph item, what is Baume? I mainly use homedepot product like this https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-1-Gal-Muriatic-Acid-2-Pack-10031HDX/206809317
Is it Baume?
2. when does everybody run daily test and add chemicals? Dawn or dusk?

Just ignore the baume and use the %, baume is a old form of measurement. If the jug don't say assume it's 20%

Last 5 days I did at night, yesterday and today, along with tomorrow will be in the morning. Do whatever is better for you. It's better at night for a bleach addition so in case there is fuzzies it has extra FC to kill them because your not losing it from the sun, but you cannot do the pH test at dark, unless you do it inside.
