So, how old is this Kroger bleach?

I don't know how to determine this one but I'll bump this back up and maybe someone else will know. If you have a Walmart nearby, they have the regular date codes we know and love!

Yeah, I usually use wally-world bleach after they run out of Pool Essentials 10% for the season. This was basically the same price - a nickel cheaper, actually- I was there, and wanted to save a trip to another store. I emailed Kroger on their contact-us page after I posted this. I'll post if they reply.

It is likely that the "sell by" date is one year from the date of manufacture. So I'm guessing that bleach date code is Feb 2017
