Dark spots in plaster

I thought this was dirt. I brushed it and it’s not dirt. I shocked it and still nothing. I would jump in and see but water is 58*. They did not tell us to acid start up. We brushed 3x a day and ran filter system and just keep going. The pool 8 months old, plaster.

I test and keep water around TFP guidelines with borates.

Looks like it could be metals staining.

Take your pool water into a pool store and have them test it for metals.

5 days ago metals where 0 and phosphates 300. I will try vitamin c when I can. Is the plaster the same color through out? Also is the lighter area marbling or dust settled?
