Curious about CYA ratio. It was 150+. Drained about a 3rd of the pool and it was 100. I did a reduced CYA test (half tap/half pool water). It was in the 30-50 “ideal” range of the test strip.
So does that mean I need to drain half the pool to get it in ideal range.
 
Looks like draining my pool based on the test strips was a waste of time.
Got the TF-100 in and CYA is 20 (strip still shows 100).

Guess that might explain why my chlorine is burning up so fast? (Down to 0 from 10 in 1 day / CC is .5)
