CYA testing using R-7065

If you take the CYA (R-7065) control solution and mix it with the reagent and pour the mixture into a view tube at the 50 ppm mark (Standard + reagent), then take a second view tube (pool water + reagent)) and place it side-by-side to the control, then, while looking down both tubes, add the pool mixture until it matches the appearance of the black dot in the control?

Is this a correct use of the CYA standard solution?
