I need advice re proper reading for the cya test. FYI - All my readings are posted to pool math.
I have read that the best method is take the reading outside with the sun at my back. I have done that but I get different readings as follows : Readings always are at waste level for holding the test tube > 1. Reading between 60 & 70 with sun at my back with test tube having sun on it ; 2. Reading between 40 & 50 ( logged as 50) with sun at my back with test tube held in the shade of my body.
That’s a big difference (50 vs 70 ) so I’m wondering what the best method is.
I also sometimes do the readings in evening inside my house with the test tube directly under bright light.
