CYA and evaporation

Will CYA decrease based on water evaporating or is removal of water via draining or splash out the only way to reduce CYA?

Evaporation only removes the water. It leaves behind the cya, the salt and the calcium Etc. So to lower any of those you have to physically remove water and to replace it
