I know PH and water temperature have a huge part on CSI along with TA.
I finally did full test yesterday and realized the TA is 50. Playing with the calculator for the colder temps the water would have been aggressive when I dropped PH to 7.7.
Even right now as temperatures fluctuate 7-8 degrees, it throws csi further negative.
Playing with the calculator it looks like the best way is to increase the TA so I have some play.
Most say leave the TA alone but I’ll have to stay on top of the PH and not drop it below 7.9 ish to stay around -.3
Increasing the TA allows me to have a little more wiggle room.
The plaster is about 8 months old.
Thoughts on the best way to keep up with it?
The other calculations is I increased cya and salt yesterday.
