Hi Guys!! TIA for any and all help. Here's my problem. Several weeks ago there was a large construction fire several miles from my house. Major fire that pumped a ton of debris, ash, soot etc into the air. There was so much of it, it looked as if we were having black snow showers. This debris varied in size from newspaper size sheets to mere specs..Of course I got a ton of it in my pool and was able to skim, dip, filter and robot much of it out. What remains is a fine debris, black ash/soot that is showing up on my liner seams. I have filtered 24/7 for several week and run the robot daily. Looks as if it too fine for the cartridge filter to pick up.
Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated!! Water looks great but this fine Crud has me crapped out!!!!
Thanks!
Sami

Hmm. Your filter should get it all out over time, but I would also add some skimmer socks to your skimmers to help the process along.

Cartridge filter will get it eventually. Brush daily with the filter on, keep skimmer socks rinsed out. We had huge fires really close to us last year and we had the same mess to deal with. The issue is that everything around you is covered in the stuff and everytime a breeze kicks up it blows back in the pool.
