Cracked Half Union on SWCG Cell

James W: thanks for the info. I erred when I said I had a IC40. It’s an IC20. It was purchased in 2016. So hopefully the threads on the split nut will fit.

IC20/IC40/IC60 cells all have the same housing and unions.

I'm sold on the split union nut. I just need to be certain that the thread pitch is the same as on the Pentair Intellichlor SWCG.

The threads on the Pentair iChlor I have are a much courser thread than regular pipe thread. I just tried it with a union that came with the SWG.
I broke a union fitting on my multivalve and looked at split nuts for it. Made me too nervous to use, as this would be a catastrophic failure point. Had to replace the whole valve, but it was what needed to be done to do it reliably.
