I had a sand cove. It used to shift all of the time. It got heel marks in it too. When I replaced my liner 3 seasons ago I installed wall foam and foam cove.
Wall foam I would pass on. I don't find any great benefits and it was a bear to get flat. Foam cove, I would have paid double for. It went in quickly and easily, and I have had a uniform and even cove these last 3 years with no issues.
Thanks guys for all the input, I could have done this without any help, but don't think it would be anything, anyone would risk swimming in. I have not even started putting pool up, have yet to even get the ground prepared, by this time next year, I will be close.
