CoverLink wireless control touchpad

My automatic pool cover control pad keeps blinking red. it was working yesterday and when i went to close the pool i noticed the pad will not stop blinking red. i change the batteries and still the same. the pad will not let me punch in any numbers. anyone else seen this problem? thank you

I have contacted cover pools and they won't tell me anything. they said they have to come out and look at it. it's an automatic $100 service charge. just wanted to see if anyone here had seen this and maybe knew what could fix it. thanks
