Some people’s spas are separately plumbed from their pool & able to be completely isolated so they can use them even when the pool is closed/winterized which is why I asked.
It looks like the spa already has a nice cover - just the mouth of the spillover is exposed. Looks like you might be able to just cut a piece of foam to fit there, perhaps wrap it in vinyl like the spa cover & attach it to the existing cover with some velcro so it’s removable for when the pool/spa are open.
