I have a cover Pool II diamond addition. The drum seems to turn with the motor direction. The ropes take time to engage from the turn of the Shifting Collar Part # 1600014).
My question is is the Main Shaft (Part # 110174) supposed to turn independently until the Shifting collar engages.
Seems like the main Shaft(part # 110174) may be fused/stuck on ( Part # 160012) creating the drum to spin when motor is running.
This is causing slack in ropes and a "Backlash" in the cover because the drum spins several rotations before the ropes engage
