Cost of basic automation

Hello,
Wondering what the cost would be for basic automation? Im considering adding swg to my build, but I also have a heater and sheer descents. My understanding is if you have swg you need to get automation? My equipment will be all Jandy products. I emailed my builder about the cost but haven’t heard from him
yet. Also, would like to know what the average cost would be. TIA!

You don't need automation if you have a SWG. The SWG has it's own control panel. And once you have the SWG dialed in it does not need adjustments very often.

If you are getting Jandy products then the automation would be Aqualink. Since Jandy no longer sells their products over the Internet we can't say what it may cost. It is up to your builder what he wants to charge you for it.
