Lots of posts here - I'll add my .02 on my observations of life with a SWG system:
I never really need to worry about the sanitization of my pool (or, as a result, algae outbreaks).
I can go away for a week or so and not worry about anyone checking the chlorine level.
The pool stores aren't terribly convenient for me to drive to or get to when they are open (they all close fairly early).
The water does feel better - I used to be a little itchy coming out of the pool, but not with the SWG.
I have a single speed pump with an oversized SWG cell - I only run the pump (and hence the SWG) 4 hours a day and get plenty of filtration and chlorine.
