Hello… here are my numbers from about 6pm yesterday I’ve since added 10 pounds of soda ash.

I have received a ton of great advice (including being introduced to this site), most saying do a SLAM before anything else. However, several folks have said I should address the copper and phosphates before anything else. I guess I’m just hoping for a clear path forward.

Thanks in advance,
Misty

If your copper level is really 1.3ppm, you need to start with that. I’d get a test elsewhere to be sure that number is real, because it is very high. Fixing that will require a major water exchange.

Copper first which will require dumping the water to get rid of the copper.

Then you also dump lots of the algae, fill with fresh water, and have a quicker SLAM Process.

Misty, to follow TFP methods you need to trash your test strips and Pool Store testing and get a good test kit - Taylor K-2006c or TFT Test Kits
