Any luck @RayofLight? I'm in a similar boat except instead of the coping directly abutting the decking, it's all a single pour of concrete. Likely explains both the cracks radiating out from the pool through the coping/decking and the ones in the tilework around much of the pool. (Small tiles so the cracks follow the grout lines rather than popping off tiles.)
This renovation was done about 8 years ago. Pool originally had stone coping and concrete decking but no idea if it originally had a proper expansion joint or what else may now buried beneath this 3" slab. Good times.
