I have been using Baquacil cdx chemicals for about 13 years. At first everything was fine until about 3 years ago. Started to get pink slime forming on my pool ladder and then last year in August the whole bottom of pool was pink. I am tired of spending between $400.00 - $500 a season on the chemicals so I’m trying to convert to chlorine. I drained the pool down to a foot of water and refilled. Not sure what steps to take next.Can anyone give me some guidance?
