Hey friends can you give me perspective about switching to salt?

The SWG, any hidden parts of its install, the salt, the hidden costs and chores?

Adding a salt water chlorine generator will reduce your maintenance time, but is not maintenance free.
Appears you have a single speed pump. The SWCG needs to be sized as large as possible to reduce the pump run time.
Otherwise no big surprises. Depending on your fill water and how much water you add for evaporation, you may need to add some acid occasionally. Salt will be needed when you refill after winter. Along with some CYA, but you will be able to keep your CYA at a lower level as you have an auto cover, as long as it is kept closed for the majority of the daylight hours.

It'll reduce the time needed for the daily stuff once it's all dialed in which shouldn't be too long. Then you have the usual mechanical issues that present them selves once in a while.

Make sure you know how it's going to be powered. Mine is powered from a relay on my pump, so if the pump is off, the SWG is also off, and vice versa.
You need a power source that ensures that the SWG is not on when the pump isn't.
