Well I am happy to report that the SLAM is done! It took exactly 3 weeks to do it but I now have a sparkling clear pool. My levels this morning were FC 13.5 (last night it was a 14) and a CC level of .5 and a CYA of 30. So I am done slamming....now what? do I just let the FC come down to a 2?

take your FC down to 4. 2 is the absolute minimum and you don't want to go that low. aim for 4 or 5. i personally keep the FC up until i had 0 CC, the presence of 0.5, while passing the OCLT still means something is getting killed. i kept my FC up another day or two until i had CC of 0 and it has never been up to 0.5 since.
