Hello
I am a new above ground pool owner (15x30 Chlorine approx 48 000 litres)
When we bought the pool we were given a bunch of chemicals. (see photo)
After a few weeks of getting the water tested at the pool store and buying more chemicals, we've had enough.
We would really like to get a better handle on what we are doing and how to respond using the TFP method.
As of today, our water results are as follows:
Free Chlorine-0.06 ppm
Total Chlorine-0.06 ppm
Combined Chlorine-0 ppm
pH-8.4
Hardness-189 ppm
Alkalinity-229 ppm
Cyanuric Acid-5 ppm
Copper-0.4 ppm
Iron-0.1 ppm
Phosphate-87 ppb
My pool store recommended I buy a product called pH Down (Expensive) to address the ph and to shock the pool.
Any help tips or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you!
